that guy was drunk and disruptive as all hell, my buddy was working that game as a paramedic and was just outside that shot.  he said the cops were not out of line in the slightest.

they looked out of line to me.  no need to tazer him.  I've seen countless more unruly fans removed from games without being tazed.  When they first made their case for tazers, they assured the public that they would only be used where they otherwise would have shot someone--thus saving lives...  so pre tazer era, they would have shot that guy?  nooo...  just lazy ass cops.  if it were justified, where were the cheers?  even people who were there thought it was out of line.

They should have just choked him out and dragged him out of the park.
