My question is why? What do we need a civilian defense force for? What exactly are they going to do? Who are they going to answer to?

This is old.  It's a figure of speech.  We hashed that out when the clip was first posted.  I initially thought it was pretty bad, but in context it's not a big deal.

Common sense says....what? I mean what the hell is that. Barry mentioned a volunteer force but it wasn't military...so what,  the DOD is gonna compete against another armed agency. I will assume it was a mistake.

i just got back from the range and poppoed off the Remi 870 for a bunch of rounds.  These dirtbags come to my home or office and threaten me or my family, its on.
