Today Congressman Grayson (D) Florida District 8 announced that he has been doing "shuttle diplomacy" with Congressman Barney Frank (Financial Committee Chairman). For the last several weeks Grayson has been seeking to move Ron Paul's Audit The Fed out of committee and onto the floor of the House of Representatives. Today Mr. Grayson said that Chairman Frank agreed to release HR1207 out of committee.
"This is a significant development since many bills can get bottled up in committee and never go anywhere," said Grayson.

Barney Frank has always been out in the open and is by far one of the best Congressman. People just hate him for his brutally honest candor and the fact that he does not at all hide who he is.
He is one of the great ones.

This is how its done! Grayson is the man here. The answers these people give are unreal.
Which financial institutions received this money? Bernanke's answer: I don't know.
Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations. Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman responds that the IG does not know and is not tracking where this money is.

I remember that one. I posted it last year, it's pretty entertaining especially watching Greenspns face. The thing I like about Grayson is, he's calm, he makes good use of his time and he knows what questions to ask. He made Bernanke look foolish. The guy is one sharp individual. I wish he had another 5 minutes, who knows what else we would have found out.

And another.
"Tell us who they are." Sanders
"Uh, no." Bernanke.
Nice. ::)
