I’ve been using 1-2 packets per day for several months – nothing noticeable (good or bad).

I’m sure that eventually someone will publish the results of a study that force-fed a lab mouse 6,000x its weight in Stevia extract over a 12 hour period, resulting in a brain tumor.

At least Stevia is not a man-made chemical. The body actually knows how to negotiate Stevia and it has no "formaldehydic" properties like ASS partame.

Good way to diet on lower carbs and kill the sweet-tooth.

I buy the NuStevia (non-bitter) powder at GNC for about ten bucks. The only other significant ingredient is Maltodextrin-- which technically is a "complex" carb. There are no artificial flavors in this brand- I'm glad I found it.

Aspartame messes with me, Stevia doesn't.

The FDA isn't diggin' it too much, and neither are the sugar manufacturers. It is still listed as a "dietary supplement"

I believe the controversy over Stevia - actually TruVia & PureVia is that they are taking an extract (rebiana) from the stevia plant and not using the entire plant (which IS safe).

Lots of things here that make you go hmmmmm
