Still has wrinkles in his back. Hmmm, I asked on the day of the O did he have back wrinkles, everybody said No.  Same people. I can't believe it, a Mr. O with a wrinkly incomplete back. Makes me want to stop following bodybuilding, or stop lifting altogether and follow greyhound racing, ice sculpture, something.

It's easy to post Jay and be right on this but you post Ronnie pics and it becomes clear that it isn't that bodybuilding hasn't progressed, it's just that there is a lull where there is no massively outstanding guy.

No, honestly, after Jay’s last showing at the O, he really deserves the title of the best Mr. O ever.

If you want me to compare him to your ultimate Mr. O, I will do for you

Dorian: missing 2 body parts (at least), huge gut, below average legs, average chest, I think that is enough.  :-\

Ronnie: Huge gut and waist, Ugly abs, wide hips, No Triceps, No Calves, big legs with poor separations.

Cutler: Complete body from head to toe, Mega Width, straitened legs, they only knock on him is he needs a little tighter skin from behind. Some tanning will do.

So,  Jay Cutler is the best Mr. O ever (at least for me)

and why didnt you mention jay's weak points beside his strong ones my friend??..

jay is relatively soft in his chest and shoulders, also his back is not that hard (but of course much better than 07 and 08 when it was soft like a baby's ass).. also jay's left biceps and left quad oversize his right biceps and quad!!..

still i believe he won this time in a good way because the other top guys too have there share of weaknesses!!..

i believe dorian of 93 can be considered the best mr. olympia ever with samir 83 comes in 2nd!!..

Okay, Ronnie never had wide hips...never did and never will, Jay is the one with the wide pelvic girdle. And Ronnie did have huge tris, look at his front double bi shots. Jay has not surpassed Ronnie. Look at that wrinkly back, just look at it, plus, it's half a back---half full.

are there people dumb enough to even mention Jay and a prime Ronnie in the same sentence? hell Ronnie is that much better than a prime dorian too.

LOL

people need to realize that just because Jay won doesn't mean he is something that he was not.

he is well below many guys like ronnie, dorian, shawn, flex and kevin when they are on form.

jay is like franco- he won because there was no one else around.

Stand them side by side and Ronnie looks like a black kid. Cutler outweighs him by at least 30 pds in those pics lol.

There's a limit to how much muscle you can put on a frame without loosing shape and distinction between muscle groups.  BBing has been about the same in the last 10 yrs, I agree.

Ronnie, before the gut, could be the best we'll ever see.  Dorian pre-bicep tear (I think around 1993- the yr of those black & white photos) is right up there too.

Jay looked amazing this past weekend, got to give him due credit.  His back was completely dry, the tiny bit of skin isn't fat and probably not much water either...just a bit of skin because he was at a lower bodyweight.

How much do you really expect bodybuilding to progress from here?  There is only so much lean muscle a human can hold and that limit was reached somewhere around '93 with Dorian.  Ronnie also reached that limit.  They both looked better than Jay because of structural/genetic advantages, but Jay brought his peak form Saturday and was the clear winner.

agreed, there is only so much muscle you can put on a human frame before it just doesn't look right anymore.

Don't know why all these doofus' compare (we know who you are) Nasser to Ronnie, Ronnie wipes the floor with this moron. Good bber yes, but even Stevie Wonder knows Ronnie is superior to Nasser. Only true competition for Ronnie was Levrone, and Wheeler, and later even Cutler to an extent.

That's what happens when there literally isn't any competition. I respect both Jay and Branch, they did thier hw, and got rewarded. They were better on the day that counted and that's what matters while Wolf, Vic, Phil, etc..all were let downs.

Well brother I have to agree with you in most of what you have said.  However, in regard to Jay difference in size between his right and left side I think he has pretty much fixed it!

Moreover, bodybuilder’s physiques are judged on personal preference.

Dorian at the Mr. O 93 looked great, but I don’t like his physique even at his best, his calves are almost as big as his legs!! His arms are below average at its best; his muscles don’t pop especially in MM pose. He was all Lat, Back, and Calves Nothing Else! He is the MOST overrated bodybuilder on my eyes and I really don’t see the hype on him not to mention his showing after the injuries!!

Ronnie is one of the greatest for sure. His best Olympia showing was in 99.  However, his ugly abs and midsection, and wired calves makes him incomplete.

Jay Cutler has all the body parts and as wide as a Bull. He takes it on my eyes. It is just my PREFERENCE.  :)

Prime Dorian standing next to Jay would look like Jay standing next to Phil.  It's not even a close comparison, Yates would wipe the floor with him.
