How does one tell the difference if it is hunger from lack of calories or hunger from blood sugar shifting.

this is not unexpected, how do you avoid a blood sugar shift? 0.0 carbs? any insulin release will cause this. That is why am asking if there is a way to differentiate what hunger it is. this was poor advice!

I wondered if you could tell me if one can tell a difference between hunger or hunger that comes from having a blood sugar shift.
The reason I asked was because I wanted to know. (you asked why I asked. )
I'm not concerned. I usually have no problem ignoring the hunger but wondered if it could be contra productive. If I wake up hungry after a nap and not eating before the workout.

So you're asking if being hungry is indicative of something that you should care about? I don't know the answer to that :D

we cant tell the differrnce because they could all be co factors at any given time, we preform diet trials till we break them and learn somethings sometimes.
if one consumes spinach and milk product all vitamins minerals and protiens are coverd, so as low as we can get with these foods eventually we reach the point of need something extra for the (co-factors u defined) at work on you.
whats worse if you give in but stay up to late, then restart diet next day as if nothing happend, diet is actually harder after the day you screw up sometimes because i tend to not sleep very well if i cheat or splurge after consective days of low cals, i only splurge like 2-3000 calories extra wich really aint shit basically you/I just get full but you know u/I slowed down fatloss for a day
i think diet is hard for everyone that is natural, especailly if you like to hang out but wanna keep on a diet too. 2000-3000 over a daily caloric total limit during a diet may fill you out but smooth you over as well but not much, but two days of 2000-3000 extra would definitly add a nice pound of noticable fatgain
the only thing i know to tell you is to maybe add some canned low calorie mixed vegetable type stews to help with the hunger

i would think when you are healthy and have plenty of bodyfat that hunger would always be from
blood sugar shift or your brain trying to stop the starvation process of cutting...your body can always
feed on your bodyfat to survive

exactly he doesnt really need any other nutrients as long as he has some dark greens and milk wich virutually cover everything, he just has to stay strong and add some low calorie dishes in his attempt to battle boredom and non eating caloric things

do you eat cooked or raw spinach...pasturized or raw milk
i like spinach raw and have not had raw milk but i think it
is the best protein/fat source, especially grass fed cows

if you are fat and are hungry... simple solution... dont eat.... fat ass! its not hunger its depression!

When you have been dieting hard and your metabolism shuts down, there is no question about what is happening. You need to eat, period.
If there is a question, you probably don't need much.

Mental acuity is often a sign of low blood sugar.

no you dont need to eat simply take a nap because you dont need to be doing too much on a true fatloss diet. if you do eat only have a very limited selection of foods, if your dumb enough to have a hard workout when dieting better train right after you eat something preferebaly after work so you can just fall asleep rather than keep eating and training wich is nearly impossible to eat just enough and train. keep the body fully recovered at all times on a diet by not training much but go real low on calories to lose all fat
