According to reports, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will be getting the next shot at the UFC Heavyweight Championship:

Inside Fights has confirmed a Wrestling Observer Newsletter report that Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will face the winner of the Nov. 21 Brock Lesnar/Shane Carwin fight.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, who is coming off an impressive victory over Randy Couture, will have to put his desire for a rematch with Frank Mir on hold, since it seems that he will be getting the next shot against the winner of Brock Lesnar vs Shane Carwin. No date or event has been announced yet, but they say that it will probably happen early 2010.

this is my no.1 fighter who ISN'T just a powerful fighter who i think can beat brock. i also think frank shamrock could beat him too but that would kick up a whole lot of arguing lol

I can see nog getting his face beat to pulp while trying to get his 37th win by decision. Let's hope carwin gets the honour than it will be somewhat entertaining
