Title: Is there a big difference??
Post by: Go 4 It on October 24, 2009, 12:58:19 PM
Is there a big difference if you take in the same amount of calories-macro's/micro's, in five meals, rather then six. I usually take in 6 meals a day sometimes 7, but lately I've been taking in 5 bigger meals, but hitting all my usual numbers nutritionally..so the question is if this will make a change at all metabolically?

No difference whatsoever, in fact you could take in 4 meals with the same calories and macronutrients and be fine.

blood sugar levels etc with 6 meals you generally eat every 3 hours, which is perfect. On 5 meals i'm guessing you eat every 4 hours? which is a bit too long between meals. planning "life" around eating every 3 hours can suck at times. but you know what they say, everybody wanna be a bodybuilder... :D
