Exactly. Very granite-like. But I'd still go with Phil Heath in that shot simply because I like those "pretty physiques" á la Flex Wheeler, Shawn Ray, Dexter Jackson, etc.

Very different backs. But overall Branch didn't have any trouble against Kai and Phil in that pose.

Great lower body though. Seems like this Olympia rewarded good legs over good back. Jay has similar strengths and weaknesses to Branch in the rear lat spread, although he is bigger.

I really think Dex killed Branch and Jay from the back, the back relaxed was a joke. But then Dex has pooh calves and less stellar legs than the other 2.

I too see Branch as Dorian-like in conditioning, which is why I found it surprising when Dorian had a dig at him for his poor separation because of bad form on his lifting.
