HAVANA (Reuters) - Former Cuban leader Fidel Castro warned on Monday that President Barack Obama's "kindly smile" could not be trusted, saying Washington was plotting against leftist Latin American governments including Venezuela's.

Castro, 83, who ran Cuba for nearly 50 years before poor health led him to hand the presidency to his younger brother Raul last year, initially welcomed Obama's election but has been increasingly critical...

"The empire is mobilizing behind rightist forces in Latin America to strike Venezuela and, in doing so, strike (other leftist) states," the letter said...

Chavez, Washington's most outspoken critic in Latin America, called Obama "the Nobel War Prize" winner on Monday.

Hugo/Fidel were not punked ::)  If you haven't been paying attention to what they've been saying then why the hell comment like you have?  Because it's clear by this post that you have no background of what's been said by them over Obama's first term.

I have a hard time believing 333 cares either so there was really only one target in posting this.  Plus the fact that 333 does his best to dig up any negative opinion of Obama.  He doesn't care what the source, he's happy as shit to pile on.

I think that they like many others took a wait and see approach and are now realising the score. 

I know the book Hugo gave to Obama etc, however, Castro has been freindly and said many kind words of Obama up till now.

Both Castro and Chavez had early criticism for Obama.  You can't take a friendly appearance and turn it to mean more than it is.  All leaders do that when they meet.

Now I guess you can say they've both had nicer things to say about Obama than they did Bush, that's not shocking lol...

Funny that this guy is criticizing others about war considering how much money he dumps into South American rebel groups. Why anyone cares about what this retard has to say is beyond me.
