Russians and Americans have created PODS to escape in should things go CATASTROPHIC come 2012...

I would bet anything that just like 1999 around the world people will be committing suicide, performing sacrifices, involved in rituals an other odd behaviors in the belief of staving off perceived end or changing the course of events they think will happen.
