If it were more profitable to cure cancer than treat it, it would be cured.

How sad...but again it shows you what CAPITALISM is all about. No company is concerned whether you live or die...as long as they can make money off of your sickness/illness...and if they can't they will let you DIE.

With enough awareness, the public will scream for our government to fund it.
It only makes sense. They can put the money in now, ...or they can pay for the cancer treatment of citizens when they develop cancer. This will get funded.

My girlfriend was told by her Dermatologists that her rare form of Basal cell skin cancer was incurable. After 5 surgeries , it kept returning. We found out about a cream called Curaderm..used in Europe and Australia..and after using it for a few months..she is cured. Since it would cut down the surgeries Dermatologists perform..and it's derived from natural sources, It probably will never be prescribed in the US.

That's what happens when the corporations run your government.

I hope she gets better. You too Chemist. We may beat each other up here, but at the end of the day, I hope all goes well for your families.

Agreed. Chemist, Nicky...best of luck to your family members, I wish them the best.
As to the thread though, I just can't see how this is Big Pharma's problem. A company isn't in business just to give away free money. What a shock! This is something the government should be tackling (although I hate to agree with Jag :)).
There's a lot of things to beat up Big Pharma over. Unfair lobbying, pricing, collusion, sales tactics (though I've been told the government has clamped down a lot on this aspect), etc., but I just don't see this being one them.

::) It's obvious you've done very little research on alternative medicine and it's suppression by mainstream medicine, the FDA, and the AMA. Go back to sleep!

And this has what to do with a corporation not funding something that won't generate a profit?
Again, for the dumb person:
"There's a lot of things to beat up Big Pharma over...but I just don't see this being one them."
Now, get back to cleaning bedpans and changing diapers and let the smarter people discuss this issue.

Haha you're a fucking idiot aren't you?

Still can't answer?

Still can't answer?
Answer what?
Suppression of alternative medicine is a direct reflection of big pharma not being able to generate profit from it. Why is that so hard for people like you to understand. I suggest you do some more research on alternative medicine, the history of the AMA, FDA, etc.

Why should a company fund a study that will not generate them a profit?
Did you even bother to watch the video? Or did you just decide to jump in with the I'm smart, you're stupid stuff?
Nobody is arguing Big Pharma is good. Personally I think they inflate prices not for exquisite research needs, but to pay their CEO's hundreds of millions of dollars.
Since you're not bright enough to figure it out, let me put it this way...WE AGREE, BIG PHARMA SUCKS BIG TIME.
Is it your attempted argument that Big Pharma should fund studies that will not generate a profit in order to atone for past/present indiscretions?
Or is your argument something else? Can you put something together more coherent than Big Pharma sucks and you're stupid?
