ABSOLUTELY NOT  >:( that pisses me off...how did I know that it would be a little lap dog that had this done to them... ::)

Ppl let those dogs get away with everything simply b/c they are small, perhaps they should try training them instead of "debarking"

this has more to do with the owners lack of responsibility than the dogs barking imho

I knew a lady who had a collie that had been "debarked" before she got it.  It still "barked" but it sounded muffled.    :(

Can you imagine if the kitty got his/her claw stuck while scratching?  Or if it got in a fight with another cat?
