Yep that's true. How many idiots do you see on biggest loser when they hear their 'real age' number cry saying 'oh my gosh i had no idea'. pretty much all of them. Government subsidies to sh*t farm products like soy and corn allow sh*t by products like high fructose corn syrup to become cheaper than actual good food, this gets marketed to people as a healthy alternative to sugar or whatever the package is, and boom people eat it without the KNOWLEDGE that it's killing them. Just look at this sick display -

No one who started smoking recently is under the impression it is good for them or doesn't lead to an increased risk of cancer and early death. Same with drinking. People can eat what they want but to be against informing them of what is good for them is playing right into the hands of those companies who put out bullsh*t information. For someone who wants transparency from the government you sure don't seem to want it from the food companies.

Even if you arent super educated on nutrition , your body naturally has functions and things that happen when you start getting too unhealthy, and you dont have to be educated to notice them. You have to give a dam and have self control and the ability to evaluate yourself , your habits and learn from them. look at education on drugs, yet millions of people use,
sex ed tought at 12 and up yet there are 100s of thousands of kids fucking at 12, 13, 14. and preg rate is rising
hell drivers ed, but people still cant fucking drive,
there is and have been plenty of educational material on nutrition, and if they didnt wana learn themselves there are plenty of drs, trainers, nutritionist, dietitions, and people that can help. It boils down to personal responsibilty to act as a grown person
