Title: Broke my personal best benching again
Post by: Stark on March 27, 2010, 04:01:32 AM
125 kg (Google says its 275lbs) wasn't pretty but slightly touched the chest and kept it there for 1 second so it counts for me, I think that is as far as I can go right now and I have to wait a little for my ultimate goal 140kg.

Are you eating like a big fat bastard?  I always just plateau and stick there until I ignore the waistline.  Then I feel fat, diet, everything drops right back down, and the caruosel ride goes 'round again.

thats the funny thing - I have lost a lot of weight around 15 kilos - but what I have done is to stop eating restrictive since I switched from the
"normal" BB workout and learn how to powerlift I also don;'t take protein powder anymore and just eat healty food mixed with the occasional cheat.

I've gained 15 pounds in the last year or so, it's mostly muscle but some fat too.  My waist has gotten a little bigger which bothers me, but I'm stronger and my arms and chest are bigger and girls seem to like it so who cares 8)

Not this kid again    ::)  Yes, kid.  You appear to be about 14 or 15 in the pics we've all seen.  If that's true, then sorry, 275 is a good bench for someone your age.

Dont bother pausing at your chest like a powerlifter just because the experts on  Youtube tell you to.

What is worse- that op might be lying about benching 275, or actually bragging about doing it?
