Its because when Carwin Signed the contract that was the deal, and thats contract was signed way before his recent extremly impressive showings. The contract doesnt change because you KO people afterwards. The contract changes when he gets a contract renewal when the first ones ends. Then he will get paid a shitload more =)

I will agree that most fights might/could have been stopped if there was an onslaught like that in the 1st rd....however...in a fight of this magnitude and with all that was at stake in this fight I believe the ref was fair & just in letting the fight play out...
