Title: WWE Investigated For Classifying Wrestlers as Contractors:

CTPost.com is reporting that WWE is currently being investigated by Connecticut state officials over its classification of wrestlers as independent contractors.

WWE Spokesperson Robert Zimmerman had the following to say in response to the investigation:
"WWE has always complied with the law. Up until this election, WWE has not been fined nor investigated in the past for independent contractor classification. However, curiously the state of Connecticut is currently conducting an audit of WWE's classification of independent contractors. WWE constantly reviews its internal practices and procedures to comply with ever-changing employee laws."

Hmmmmmmm, wonder if some of Linda's political opponents had anything to do with launching this "investigation?"  :-\

Probably. Jessy Ventura stated that the only thing dirtier than wrestling is politics.

When Arnold ran for governor, they brought up his "steroid use" from the 70's. 20 years later...now that is hurting.

I really don't understand why anyone would subject themselves to the scrutiny involved in politics.

I wouldn't be surprised.
Linda did/ordered some impressive investigating herself in regards to one of her opponents several months ago.

I'm pretty sure I posted the story in her "Senate Race" thread.

There's politics in everything now. Even family affairs. Its bullshit.
