well i see it like this
there has been a LOT of talk this year, about how ONLY weider athletes can win the olympia
if jay deserves to win the title this year.......and they dont give it to him
it pretty much CONFIRMS the fact that the contest is rigged in favor of weider athletes........and the contest loses pretty much all credibility in the eyes of the fans
so even though weider likes their guys to win..........they might have to give it to jay this year, just to preserve the credibility of the contest
because if they all of a sudden take the title from him, after his much-publicized move to MD.........the olympia pretty much becomes a joke in the eyes of many fans
so to preserve their monopoly, and preserve the ILLUSION of fairness...........they will probably bite the bullet adn give the title to jay for one more year
but they might give it to phil,.,.......cause they like the storyline of teachor/student passing of the torch thing between jay and phil
but i think jay (as long as he doesnt noticable get worse tomorrow) has done enough to remain the champion

kai is a dissapointment - far to mutch bodyweigt for his structure - side poses look freaky round
heath could take ist - he s in shape - too narrow for my eyes
rockel is the best european bb of today- his alltime best, should be in top 6
cutler is blocky as hell - maybe they make him the gift again - not as good as last year
martinez - not in top 5
dexter - looks good - could win this too
wolf - DONE - his back went from great to shit in 3 years and his only 32 yrs old
rolley should learn to hold one single pose - he s in shape, but his presentation is off - best arms on stage, but this also means a lot not matching bodyparts
Branch Warren - after last years decision - he must win!!

he defiantly has the more desirable physique, and a crazy amount of pop
but still this is bodyBUILDing.......and jay has a crazy amount of conditioned width and thicknes

jay vs phil: listening to the commentators on the webcast last night, the only thing that heath had over jay was his back detail! that's it! jay obviously outmasses him, kills him in the lower body (legs) department, is a better poser even during the prejudging, and jay is twice his size in width, heath is just too damn narrow.
add in the fact that cutler is the reigning mr.olympia and it's kind of like the boxing analogy when you have the champion against the contender. if the contender wants to win on the judge's card he has to KNOCK OUT THE CHAMPION! if it's close, the judges always always go with the champion, that is how it is in all "subjective" sports like boxing, ice skating, etcetera, when it's the opinion of judges on who the victor is.
right now, i see it 1)jay 2)heath 3)branch 4)dexter. will see what happens saturday night.

phil has a lot more upper body "pop" then jay.......or anyone else on stage for that matter
his conditon was also slightly better then jays
that being said. ti wasnt enough to make up for the fact that jay also had great conditoion, and is twice as wide and thick as him
if all things are equal, jay should win
but remember, he isnt with Weider anymore, so they might rob him (although its unlikely because if they do, the olympia will lose a LOT of credibility and it will completely vindicate the belief that AMI/Weider has the contest paid for)

based on the O and the A...kai can't get dry n hard at whatever weight range he is coming in at. on the other hand...it looks like phil can add 7-10 lbs more on this stringy 5'9" physique.
as phil's width is his problem...kai's height is limiting his ronnie coleman freakishness.
the only way kai beats phil at the A if both are there in 2011 is if the A has designated kai as the champ vs ami's phil.

If Phil was to win the Olympia, he would have the smallest back width of any late 20th century/21st century Mr. Olympia winner. I just can't imagine that.

when i see heath, i automatically think whether rightly or wrongly, with his shape and symetry i think npc usa/npc national winner. i just don't see or think of him as MR.OLYMPIA material. especially since for the last 10 plus years it's always with the 1 exception of dexter, the biggest freakiest guy on stage, usually that was either yates, then coleman, and now cutler, and it's still cutler.

lets put this into perspective. culter has been a horrible mr o except 2009. 2006 beat an injury riddled old ronnie and ronnie still destroyed him on the euro tour 1 week later, 2007 got a gift because they werent going to let vic win with the gym membership scam going on in the background and 2008 just sums up the previous 2 yrs. this phil heath may have been better than 2009 since some feel dex retained the title but he pissed someone off during his rein. anyway...if they are going to give him a 4th...then he needs to f##kin retire at the end of the show....none of that 5-time mr o from this guy. jay has done well for what he was born with so he has to get that credit.

Think Jay will take it. Sure, Heath looks good but not as good as at the AC. Him being narrow, he really needs to show up with perfect conditioning and top Jay on that basis. Which he didn't do. The politics aside, it should in fact be between Jay and Dex.
