Title: Walmart owning of old lady
Post by: stormshadow on November 16, 2010, 05:22:02 PM
I got my 15 lbs of lean ground beef, veg, PB and a few other items and this old lady is in front of me.

Now I'm already expecting her to be slow, but she set a new standard when she whipped out the stack of coupons.  One of the coupons required 3 of the same item, and the scanner said she only had two.  So the dumbass cashier and the worthless old lady proceed to dig through an entire cart of bagged groceries just to confirm that the scanner was right and the worthless old lady was wong.

So then after all that is handled, she pulls out the gift card which causes further complications and delays.

After all this she leaves, no apology, nothing... After all that waiting we did because of her (prob 15 minutes)

So she ends up forgetting a few items (depends undergarments and papertowels) so the cashier puts them to the side.  My order is run and paid for and as I'm loading my car I see that the old lady is parked right next to me and I very easily could have walked over and told her that she left a few items inside.  Some guys might have even told her to wait and gone and got them for her.

But not me, I kept my mouth shut, knowing she would drive all the way home, then realize she forgot them and then have to make another trip back to the store.  I'm hoping that the added time on the road increased her chances of getting in a fatal car crash or something of that nature.

Old people should be rounded up and thrown into wood chippers...

Nope, I did nothing to harm that lady.  Not my responsibility that she forgot her diapers.  Also not my responsibility if she fell outside and needed helped up.  I would have laughed and said:  "you should be more considerate of those that have to tolerate the inconvenience of you being alive..." then went and got an ice cream cone as she lays in a puddle on the street with a fractured hip.

Old people don't bother me, it's the freaking people that go through the speedy checkout with 100 items and hold the line up.

And one time I was checking out with ONE item, and a woman behind me kept bumping into me with her buggy as if she was gesturing that I should hurry up.  It wasn't an accident, she did it about 4 times!  So I decided to be even slower and count out change and stuff instead of using my credit card because she pissed me off lol.

I'm 31, have a BS in engineering and work in product development for a fortune 500 company.

Maybe you want to live behind the the Christian fantasy that all life is precious... I don't

So go jerk off to your war heros, wave your American Flag, and slap a yellow ribbon on the back of your car.

You know god basically killed everyone in the world during a certain watery event. Have you ever heard of this guy called "Noah"?

My "attempted owning" lol. What a sad little internet bully you are, with limited critical thinking skills to boot. Nice a potent combo IMHO   ;)

Second failed attempt.

Christians don't even read the bible, they listen to what their pastor and leaders tell them.  They vote republican because their church tells them to, they are pro life because their church enforces that belief.. They parrot dogma fed to them by religious leaders.  With the exception of the limited versus they hear in church, they don't read the bible dude.

I'd venture to say a very small percentage of "Christians" have even read the entire bible cover to cover, and even fewer have sat down and read it with a bible dictionary to get any semblance of understanding from the original texts before translation.

nothing christian motivates ne to think the way i do ..... i thought it was common sense among experienced humans......

im also not an american

See, the reality is that if you were starving and needed to provide for your family, you would steal, hurt and do whatever was necessary to that old lady in order to survive.

Only on the surface do you care, but not deep down..  The difference between us is that I realize the inherent nature of man, and don't try to parade around with a phony sense of compassion for others.

naaaa ..... u opened up a new chapter which is crossing the line into another part of the subject for no reason.....

of course in a life or death/long term survival scenario i would make a calculated decision to put a younger life before an old person.... and i think i could do that quite professionally despite my respect for the older generation......

Hell no, I got a vasectomy when I was 25.  If breeding is the only thing that gives your life meaning, then I feel bad for you.

I don't mind kids, I'll just never put myself in that position to have 60% of my pretax wages taken for child support because I took a chance on marrying some bitch from Generation Nothingness...
