I get accompanying pain all over. The predominately painful side is dependent upon which ovary released the egg.

I would get someone heating pads, and stuff and rub the footsies during that time of the month.
-
Totally normal. Lower back pain is the worst. Treat her to some long, slow rubbing.

I had cysts in my late teens that did that :-[

uh huh, it's kinda like in stereo, then I'm told that when you're about 50 one speaker packs in... it gets painful on only the one side every month. And then (my mum tells me) you comprehend that you must go begging at the doctor's for hormone therapy...
let's all look forward to the menopause, that maybe might be far less painful than the 30-35 years of the menses.
Hey, I didn't have children yet, I'm too reluctant and am truly scared of really extreme pain...
xL

pretty soon now, I'll be half the girl I used to be
maybe one day we'll be able to buy nice new pain-free ovaries 2 for 1 on aisle 20 next to the toilet paper...

Mine are alternating between left & right every month. Occasionally both will release at the same time tho.
I can always tell when the pain is going to be extreme, depending on how much my boobs swell up just prior.
I'm not looking forward to this month's cycle, ...my boobies feel like they're going to burst. :o

Each month? Have they said anything about it or is it normal for you?

yup, every damn month, well except when I was pregnant ;D. Nothing out of the ordinary, it's very normal but in my experience, the older you get, the worse the cramping and back pain is at that time of the month :(

As long as I won't need surgery for it, I can handle it!
