this is why you dont need a gym. i find that doing one arm pushups trish warren style is highly effective, she spreads her legs and on hand on thigh.
i tested to see how much pressure that one hand was under so i put a scale under my hand and it was 165 pounds
im guessing i could bench about 400 and something right now, since i can regularly do 6 or so one arm at a time in many sets

15-18%
i find it odd that ive never been able to do one arm pushups till now at a heavier and fatterbody weight. i could just simply have better technique down i usually go down 5/8 or 3/4 all the way down not a complete one arm pushup where my body hits the ground. i feel like a powerful-fat ehonda (http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTRj4c2xuauXTYdMWren7UQVwqcHXhUHjbJ75phMj-X80hamzgY)
i still have trouble getting motivated IMMEDIATLEY in the morning to do workouts, but ive been deep breathing through the nostrils and that seems to help along with the calories
-
So how many times do you train per day, and do you train every single day? Also, just out of curiousity, how big are your arms?
-
You still using the weighted backpack Falcon on regular pushups or just a hoe sitting on your back?

yes still using it.
im having a difficult time this morning getting rolling with my workout, but i think i will succede, im doing deep breathing through the nostrils to get reved up
i will probably stick with the one arm for a while then do weighted one arm if i get good enough to use added weight

train every day even if its half the workout because of either lack of motivation or fatigue. its always better to give some effort of a pathetic effort than zero effort. you have to test yourself everyday to see if you got atleast some repetitions in you. i train once a day sometimes twice my most volume workout so far has been something like 2 sets of 30 reps with 65 pound dumbells for squats and 80 weighted pushups with 40 pounds and 40 one arm pushups per arm
-
Well Falcon, if you get to the point where you can do 1 arm push ups wit weight added on to you, then you is gonna be sporting some impressive delts and tris ma man! By the way, do you train on these push ups every single day?
-

no need to weight them, just start doing a fuller range of motion then once that gets too easy start moving your legs closer together. full ROM with legs touching is much harder.

if i do half ass volume one day on pushups i usually follow next day with either high or half ass volume, i just do as best i can but i dont try to max volume both (pushups) and. ( dumbell/barbell hacksquat/squats) i usually pick on or the other to max volumize on
for ex
day one max volume pushups/ half effort squats
day 2 half effort pushups/ max volume squats
day 3 everything half effort or sub max volume
day 4 everything half effort or sub max volume
thats basically how it rolls. some days everything ends up being half effort . I consider anything less than a Personal Best is half effort. So im always trying to go up in weight or sets or reps or otherwise its considerd half effort
it usually takes a few days till i break a new record

yep correct. its difficult to bring in legs and further the ROM. i think its gonna be A-WHILE before im able to do it at that level

Well you are on the right path with this idea of trying to consistantly increase yo number of reps performed and/or trying to increase the weight being used. FYI... that is PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD ma man ;D By the way, you should add some chin ups or pull ups to make your workout complete.

yes that would make it complete, i just dont feel like messing with it though

I hear ya man, but if you do some wide grip chins you will widen your upper back and create some nice wide wings on ya, and then The Falcon will be able to soar 8)

yeah man , im getting stronger on barbell behined the back hacksquats i use 250 in sets of 5 till i hit 40 reps total , two weeks ago i did 220 till i hit 35 reps

Without a variety of freeweights, machines, hammer strengths, etc you go no where fast. 1 arm pushups are not gonna get you a good physique. Don't be cheap, spend the money and join a good gym. Case closed.

"i could bench about 400 and something right now"
NO WAY BRO !!!!!!!!!!! ::)

Have you you ever tried these outside Falcon breathing in deeply taking in negative ions? Could be beneficial.

insightfully mentioned there my friend, was going to start a thread about super deep breathing to get reved up for a workout. seems to work VERY well at kickstarting the body into a workout
for example its much more difficult to START a run than to keep going to keep running. This i beleive is because of the enhanced breathing

ive done 365 for two shakey bouncy reps in the past at a gym at a lighter bodyweight. So 400 pound bench at a higher bodyweight is nothing out of the stratosphere Wesley Testcock!

I beleive you could probably do it,just not right now based on the pushups, and the fact thatyou stopped training for quite some time.

actually this is one of the most THRILLING topics when you think about it in adulthood, but not so much as a kid in school
deep breathing would be the key igniter to motion rather than just willing ones self to do pushups...

well i use weighted pushups and one arm
after the time it takes me to do a total of 80 pushups with 40 pounds on my back i sit around for about 30-35 min eating about 16 ounces of peanutbutter wich is a good amount of energy/calories. but during sets of pushpus i consume tons of orange juice and water sometimes whitebread with katchup and some turnip green on it

I have to eat vinegar on greens is this acceptable?

I have never seen anyone do it full ROM with legs touching and without bending at the waist. Even so it's a good goal to have and gives you something to work towards. Most don't have the falcon knowledges of how to progressively increase the challenge of bodyweight workouts. Weights and machines are not necessary though they do provide ways of targeting isolation movements that are not possible with bodyweight exercises alone.

how many foot pounds when you jerk off are exerted?
