Title: Belfort Vs W. Silva II

Thoughts on this? Theyve agreed to fight but its up to the powers that be.

If Dana lets it happen then its entirely different to their first fight:

Vitor

Coming off his first KO loss & his style has changed entirely as he has aged. Hes alot more patient and less willing to simply throw the bombs in numbers, he has great ground game but still seems to want to only stand - this is his biggest flaw. Has enough power to ruin the smile of a bull but he might be - and probably should be - nervous of fighting someone who is as powerful and alot more aggressive.

Wandy

As above, tremendously powerful and aggressive but has lost a few steps with age. A prime Wandy would have simply overpowered and demolished Bisping & Franklin, and has already walked through Rampage twice. I have no doubt he wont be thinking of the first fight so that wont have any effect on him when they have the stare down.

Overall i still think Vitor has enough to win and i dont know if its loyalty to him, but i still believe he has enough to beat Anderson too. He is just too 1 dimensional and needs variety to overcome the very best.

Honestly, as much as I USED to love the agressive beast that WAS Wandy, he now bores me.   

It's sad when fighters age and reach the downward slide of their careers.  Iceman, Wandy, etc. 


This would be an interesting fight though.  These two guys are like clones of each other.  It's a matchup that seems appropriate, but in no way a main event or even co-main event.

wandy is a pale shadow of his former self....not interested in this one at all...and belfort is my favorite UFC fighter..

nah, i wanted him to win, but knew it wasnt going to happen...vitor has a weak mind....i even bet on anderson to win in the office pot..
