Hopefully, I read this right, but they are pimping their status hard, $275,000 for a book...

I'm a book collector, and I'll say right off that this book isn't aimed at people such as me. This is a vanity 'press' object aimed right at people who want conspicuous consumption -ie. people who can afford Ferraris. It will not be for 'investing' in, such as with authored titles.

The book costs more than some of their cars!

I mean, I have McLaren's "Driving Ambition" book, which seems to be the same one that came with the actual McLaren F1, the only thing is mine is not leather wrapped (or alcantara).
