In one way, I believe the employees should have done something, but to be fair, in today's ridiculously litigious society, the restaurant may have rules that forbid employees from doing any more than calling the police for fear of possible lawsuits.

I've actually told my coworkers numerous times...just b/c I can fight doesn't mean I'm going to be first in line during a confrontation or struggle here if it were to ever happen. I'm calling the cops. I"m at work...not the fuc'ing gym. I'm a director....not a night club bouncer.
The day they let me bring my gun to work will be the day I'll start defending their turf. Other than that...call the cops.

I also worked in similar environments when I was a teen...you know what went down in those same places I worked?....shootings, killings, more fights..etc ..all because a worker jumped in he/she has to be let go b/c those establishments KNEW there would be trouble in the future if not that day. Not to mention that staff member who included themselves would get dealt with later on outside of the job (schools, neighborhood..etc)

"Update: This might end up being a hate crime. It seems that the victim is a tranny and that’s what seemed to tick the women off. Police in Baltimore are investigating a brutal attack at a McDonald’s restaurant on a person reported to be a transgender woman.
The beating on Monday, April 18, resulted when the woman got into a confrontation with female patrons and refused to leave the women’s restroom.
At least one McDonald’s employee yelled at the two women to stop attacking the customer, however none of the workers attempted to intervene in the attack or prevent the women from dragging the victim across the restaurant floor.
According to the Smoking Gun, the video was captured by Vernon Hackett, a McDonald’s employee, and uploaded to various social media accounts.
In a Facebook posting, Hackett, claimed, “that was not a female that was getting beat up… that was a man… He was dressed lik a woman.”
At the end, the white female victim is beaten until she has a seizure, at which point the camera operator warns the female attackers to flee, because the police are on the way. Note: he makes sure to repeatedly tell the criminal attackers to flee, instead of keeping them there for the police to apprehend.

A McDonald’s worker has taken credit for filming and uploading to YouTube the latest viral video to capture a brutal assault at a fast food restaurant.
The employee, identified as Vernon Hackett on social network accounts, posted the video clip to his YouTube page earlier this week. According to his Facebook page, the 22-year-old Hackett, pictured at right, has worked for McDonald's since September 2009 .
The April 18 assault, seen below, took place at a McDonald’s location on Kenwood Avenue in Rosedale, Maryland, a Baltimore suburb. According to the Baltimore County Police Department, a 14-year-old girl has been charged as a juvenile in connection with the assault, while charges are pending against an 18-year-old woman. “The incident remains under investigation and the State’s Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case,” added investigators.
Police said the assault victim "appeared to be having a seizure" when officers arrived at the McDonald's at around 8 PM. The victim suffered cuts to the mouth and face during the attack and was transported by medics to Franklin Square Hospital for treatment, according to a police report (click to see page 1 and page 2).
The police report identifies the victim as 22-year-old Chrissy Lee Polis, who appears identical to Christopher Lee Polis, whose rap sheet includes convictions for disorderly conduct, property destruction, and prostitution, according to court records. The civil rights group Equality Maryland has identified the McDonald’s victim as a transgender woman.
Polis told police that she was walking to the restaurant’s bathroom when she “got into a verbal argument with two black females” who “began punching her in the face with their fists and pulling her hair.” A female bystander told cops that when she tried to break up the fight, the suspects punched her in the face, which “caused her to become disoriented.” Police noted that the woman, who declined medical treatment, had “redness around her right eye which is consistent with someone punching her in the face.”

It all starts with the family. Single moms having multiple kids with no father around is the root cause.
It's a vicious cycle with no end in sight. If the blacks can't stop it themselves, it's time for mandatory sterilization for some of the breed sows.
People scoffed at Republicans for promoting "family values" in the 90s, but that's really what is behind most of the problems in society.

Eric Holder will not prosecute "his people" under federal law making two classes of citizens in our country . Does this protection include transgendered individuals? Federal Legislation passed under the Obama administration makes the following individuals "protected" under hate crimes:
Bills H.R. 2647 & S. 909 became law
Added gender, sexual orientation and disability as protected classes. It would thus protect female, male, intersexual, heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual, transgendered, transsexual, cis-gendered, disabled, and able-bodied persons. That is, it would protect every person in the U.S. in four new ways, in addition to the earlier four, making a total of eight-way protection.
It appears that the woman who was seriously attacked by two black women in a McDonalds' restaurant is a transgender woman.

The victim of a sustained attack in a Baltimore County McDonald's has spoken for the first time about the beating she received, and how nobody came to her aid.
Chrissy Lee Polis, a 22-year-old transgender woman, said she was afraid to go outside after the attack, and hinted that it might have been racially motivated - as both of her attackers were black.
She said: 'They just hurt me really bad, and I'm afraid to go outside now because of stuff like this.'

Transgender Woman Beaten In McDonald’s, Employee Films Attack
Margaret Hartmann — Last week a disturbing video of Chrissy Lee Polis, a transgender woman, being beaten into a seizure by two girls at a Baltimore area McDonald's went viral. The attackers have been caught, but some say the bystanders should be charged as well for refusing to help her.
The attack, which is shown in part in the video above, took place on April 18 at a McDonalds in Rosedale, Maryland after Polis, who is 22, left the women's bathroom. She claims that one of the girls accused her of talking to "her man," and started hitting her and pulling her hair. She also told the Baltimore Sun, "They said, 'That's a dude, that's a dude and she's in the female bathroom."
One McDonald's employee recorded the beating on his cell phone, and he and several other employees are shown standing around and laughing in the footage. Another McDonald's employee does tell the girls to stop and tries to get between them and Polis, but the fight only winds down when an older woman steps in and physically pulls the girls off of her. As Polis has a seizure on the floor, a McDonalds employee warns the attackers, "Police on their way. Y'all better get out of here."
On Friday, McDonalds posted this statement on its website:
There's no room for violence under the Golden Arches. We strongly condemn the videotaped assault in one of our Baltimore franchised restaurants. Working with the authorities, we now have more facts, and we want to share our actions with you.
First and foremost, our thoughts are with the victim during this time.
Our franchisee is investigating the behavior and response of his employees. Action has been taken, and the crew member who made the video is no longer employed by his organization. Appropriate action regarding other employees will take place as warranted.
We want to reassure our customers that your neighborhood McDonald's is a safe, welcoming place for everyone. We share our customers' concern. We are doing everything possible to make sure the right thing is done.
(Note to McDonald's PR people: This is not the appropriate time for a corny reference to the "Golden Arches.") On Saturday the man who filmed the incident was fired, and police have charged an 18-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl for the attack. Police and representatives from several activist groups say the incident should be considered a hate crime, but police say they're still investigating and haven't determined the motive for the attack.
A rally is being organized for tomorrow night outside the McDonald's to raise awareness of hate crimes against transgender people. Polis says she's planning to take legal action against the restaurant, explaining, "Anyone in my predicament should not be afraid to walk the streets ... They should not have to go into a restaurant and get gawked at and made fun of. They shouldn't be afraid to leave the house. It's just wrong."

A District Court filing reveals that Brown’s own sister approached cops to report that her sibling “had just told her that she assaulted a woman at the McDonald’s located at 6315 Kenwood Avenue.” Deshawn Brown added that her sister told her that the juvenile suspect “was with her and assaulted the woman too.”
In a police interview, the 14-year-old suspect admitted that she had been at the fast food restaurant with her friend Brown, and that they “both got into a fight with a woman over using the bathroom.”

"I think it's terrible. I think it's inhumane," said 55-year-old Vicki Thoms, who tried to break up the assault. "When they started really hurting her, to the point where I thought she was going to die, that's when I decided someone needed to do something."
"I kept screaming, 'Stop. Get off of her.' And they wouldn't stop. One of the girls said to me, 'It's none of your (expletive) business,' and hit me in the face," Thoms told 11 News.
"The one employee there -- I think it was the manager -- said to me, 'You do know that's not a woman. That's a transvestite.' And I said, 'So? She's human,'" Thoms said.

Vicky Thoms said she was pushed and punched in the face by one of the attackers when she tried to save Chrissy Lee Polis from being savagely beaten on April 18. The incident was captured on video and posted online.
"I couldn't take it anymore," Thoms told the Baltimore Sun Monday at a rally outside the McDonald's in Rosedale, a suburb of Baltimore. "I thought, 'They're going to kill her.'"
The 55-year-old was hesitant to get involved when the attack began. But after a few minutes, she felt compelled to intervene.
