Fedor Emelianenko vs. Dan Henderson Confirmed for July 30 in Chicago. Henderson will be moving up to heavyweight for this bout. What do you all make of this?

Some sources are saying that there is a 220lbs limit. However, that's not been confirmed....

Dan will KO his a$$. If not, fedor will sub him. Either way this is like Roy Jones jr vs Bernard Hopkins II...nobody cares who wins..just get it over it.

even Fedor haters should be pulling for him in this one..
if fedor wins, chances are he'll stick around and sign a UFC contract and we'll see him tested against some guys like Mir,Lesnar,Velasquez ETC..
If he takes another "L" it's probably off to the Russian boonies where he'll become the Russian "Monk" or whatever it is he's destined to do.

This is a bad fight for Dan imo, unless they put a 220 pound limit on. SHould be made a 205 pound fight imo and see how Fedor fights lighter.

even the 220 limit is a joke. I agree. It should have been 205.

Good fight considering where these two are at in their careers.
Fedor should truly be ashamed that his career has come to taking fights with LHW's while still being a HW himself.

True, I guess the next best way to get a "respectable" win is to fight guys below his weight class.
Not only is he running out of cans, but the cans have been beating him lately.

My thoughts on Fedor are this: The guy is an amazing fighter who HAS fought and beaten some great opponents. That being said, he is a little older and absolutely not fighting in the right weight class. Strikeforce/UFC should capitalize on this and only place him in 205 fights... and see how he competes against smaller fighters. If he competes well, Fedors back. If he fails, he is done.
I'm all for another great threat at 205 and think Fedor can compete. I'd like to see him at less weight and see if he can up his speed.
