This looks like a somewhat different product from Scott York.
I know he’s been producing bodybuilding-related reality series since about 2006, and I know that his working relationship with Adela goes back at least that far.
The “behind the scenes” footage in this documentary should be exemplary, as Scott has a very good knack for catching what fans want to see most.
Beats the hell out of just another “training” DVD.

Awww! Look at that doll!
I wish Oxygen Magazine would do a story on her injury and comeback!
It would be interesting and really motivate and encourage people :)

Stell:
What's the average "career span" for fitness competitors; is there one?
I believe Adela turned pro in 1999, and obviously, she competed before that.
I want to say she's about Lee Priest's age (40).
The reason I know that is from seeing some of Lee's reality DVD's filmed when those two lived together in Texas.
Coincidentally, Scott York is the guy who did that series.
He also does a series featuring Monica Brant, of which I've only seen clips, but it looks at least as good.

I'm not sure...I think Shannon Meteraud has also been competing for awhile now too but I think she switched to figure? I really don't know what the avg. career span is.
Thanks for the info, on the vids, looks like he does a good job!

This DVD is a collaboration between Scott and Mike Pulcinella (me). Scott began shooting Adela a few years ago then asked me to help him edit it, after seeing my documentary series Raising the Bar. I added a bit of my own footage and what we came up with is I think a unique addition to the world of fitness videos.

They could still do it! I've emailed them a few times re: this. Maybe I'll send this thread.

Great idea! Please do! I don't know why we didn't think of that to help promote the DVD!
