Ive always wondered how much oil is actually "wasted" that time..and if blood comes out does it mean you did not inject deep enough?
-
youve more than likely nicked a blood vessel.... i very much doubt any oil is wasted

Almost every time you inject at least some blood comes out (few drips). Think about it, even if your not using a very long needle you are going through many layers of tissue and somewhere there is/might be a vein.
I know this, but even so i kind of freaked out few days ago when some doc injected cortisone deep into my knee, which hurt like hell and more than few drips came out after she pulled the needle out.

"i very much doubt any oil is wasted"...Agreed, if at all it would be very minimal.
