Kai said that in 1999 he was 211 for his contests.
He is 2 inches shorter than Flex and Flex weighed 216
at the 1993 Arnold Classic. Only 5 pounds heavier.
I also noticed he looked smaller than most of the other heavyweights
at the World Championships.
Why is it that some like Arnold look humongous at 235 and 6'1.5
and Gunter would look like a (relative) beanpole at this weight.
Arnold at 235

He simply was not 211.

Mild frottage? Or the whole nine yards? :D

I believe kai has been lying about his weight or exaggerating about it for a while now. He claims he was 272 at the NY Pro. That's the smallest 272 pounds I've ever seen. He also claimed he was 300 in the off season.

Some guys just look bigger at the same bodyweight than others.
Let's take Dillet. I recall he was not over 300 pounds and was tall as fuk. He still looked bigger than any other guy. Excellent structure.
Or Flex Wheeler. Looked much bigger than his weight would have suggested.

211 isn't very heavy guys. I think perhaps in the 70s guys had comparitively little weight in their legs so they had massive upper bodies, and especially chest and arms, but still didn't weigh mega poundages because their legs weighed fuck all. Kai is someone who carries a higher percentage of his weight in his legs than most, even back then.
The same reasoning applies to Gunther, he has some serious bulk in his quads and back and waist, but doesn't look 60lb heavier than arnold in any pose where arms and chest are emphasised, because that's not where he's carrying most of his weight. Hence the progress of bodybuilding to more overall development has created less aesthetic, less "wow factor" competitors, arguably. The 90s seems to be when the balance was best. Now days guys weigh 300lb of delts, lats and gut, but have no arms or legs!

How can he be 180 if he competed in the heavy weight class which is well you guys should at least know that. ;)

211 at 5'8' in contest shape is a very good weight. Sure Branch is like 230+ at 5'6' but that's a freak.

worked it out. the one with cassies song is the "fake". someones edited it into that clip.
the "real" from 3.22...

Kai is easily 260-270 now. His leg and back thickness alone would make up most of that weight.
-
Look at the leg thickness between Kai and Burneika for example.
-
thats it, i want to book kai for an hour now im certain
That would cost you! He is tier 3 and coming up on tier 2 fast!!! :D

Bone structure plays a big part in it also - Wheeler had a much lighter skeletel frame than almost every bb over 5''10. I bet his wrists were smaller than 7in Hence flex wheeler at 216 is much more muscular than Kai at 211. Kai's skeletel weight may be between 5-10lbs more than wheelers.
-
his cock accounts for a good 10 lbs
-
why do we scoff at steroid usage claims without questioning height/bodyweight claims?
I don't believe Arnold was 6'2" or 6'1" for a second. 5'11" maybe.

This is a good answer as well as someone who pointed out bone structure.
Delts, chest and arms can make you look big and impressive
but the really big 3 are legs, glutes and back as far as weight is concerned.
Appreciate the answers...
