Title: anyone ever try 3 sets per day 1 leg 1 chest 1 back? 7 day week? for months?

7yrs ago when I trained at the local ymca, a lady in her 50's would do 3sets on every machine everyday.

it was a good circuit routine. no mucle growth, no strength and no improvments, just a decent maintenance routine.
