IMO GSP would stand little chance of winning against Silva, however considering their respective frames & skill sets i think Bones vs the Spider could very well be the greatest fight of all time. I dont make these statements lightly but to me it all fits into place, unorthodox techniques & styles that almost mirror one another would make picking a winner near impossible.

I think Jones has the propensity to be great. However, at this point i'm reserving and limiting my opinion to just that.. that he has the propensity.
Dispatching Rua the way he did was super impressive. I need to see him do that to Page (which he will). AND I need to see how he reacts to being hit.

Give a slight edge to Anderson in the striking department but this fight is over as soon as it goes to the ground...
Jones will rag doll the shit out of anderson if he gets anywhere close enough to grab him...

This would be fight of the year, maybe a Christmas surprise from Dana

This "Superfight" would be superover 1 minute into round 1. Jones would finish Silva in the blink of an eye.

I want to see Overeem against any top UFC heavyweight such as Dos Santos, Mir, or Velasquez.

Ur kidding? Mir would be manhandled by Overeem, he's not exactly a title contender these days. The gulf between the top 3 (Brock, Cain & JDS) and the rest is massive and i dont think even Overeem would do alot to bridge it. Frank Mir has had his time and now he's nothing more than a gatekeeper.

x3
I've been saying this for years, he may be top 5 but he'll NEVER be champ again and he knows it.

After watching Overeem last night, I think Mir could beat him.

Mir would try to strike with Overeem and that would be his downfall, Overeem would simply smash his way through Frank (im not even a fan of Alistair and ive always liked Frank to a point). If Frank went down on his back could he do more damage than Werdum? I doubt it, although Frank is a beast on the ground when hes at his best but i havent seen anything from him in the last few years that has made me scream "holy shit hes back!"
Overeem by brutal demolition, but still not good enough for the UFC's top 3

I think the thing with Mir is he's got the best ground skills but he's physically too weak to get the people he could use them on to the ground...
his lack of Take down skills (wrestling) nullifies what he can do if it goes to the mat...
all the weight training in the world won't make a strong wrestler.
