Arms before the tears were fine. Actually he had great tris. Let's remember he could hold his own at that time against Levrone who arguably had the best tris ever.

He had world class triceps and even better forearms.
But yes, his biceps sucked. He did hide it as well as it could be done while posing, though.

His biceps were never a strong point specially with those tris to match. But before '94, i wouldn't have sayed they suck. His was very complete in '93.

Tris good - Bi's not so good - this is more about the mans form - all these fuckwits today loaded on drugs and using poor form - of course they will get some development because the drugs are in there system but they look weak and have major weakness's through out there bodies - Look at Dorian , loaded on the same drugs but used perfect form and look what it produced - a giant of a man - now Im not overly keen on Dozers build but his work ethic and how he trained are unmatched - so to the fuckwits loaded on drugs with major weakness's look at your form - lighten the load and let the muscles do the work not bouncing around using momentum etc etc..

My camera broke when I met him at the Olympia expo last year. He laughed at me while I was having a meltdown and trying to fix it. He was cool enough to hang round and wait til I got it sorted. All the way good dude 8)

Triceps were excellent and the forearms were just as good - it didn't matter too much about the biceps because he knew how to conceal them and also bring them out in certain poses - he worked his weaknesses to his advantage - it also goes to show how little biceps really matter in the overall scheme of things.
Ronnie had excellent biceps, but personally I think his triceps lacked in comparison, especially in the side tricep pose and it really showed.

I was dead on my feet. It was my 5th day in vegas and had only slept a few hours :-\ Far too long to be in vegas. I actually fell asleep at the mr o contest for about an hour and a half.

Theres another backstage pic where theyre all standing in a line, and Doz is nailing a front relaxed in 93, and you can just read the expression on sonny schmidts face... "fuck man, how the fuck are we supposed to compete with that?" Sonny had that classic look of despair/sadness that one gets when they know theyve lost before they even got onstage.

You neglected to mention the reason you hadnt slept was because you were pumped full of meth the whole time banging vegas strippers who were all chasing you around for the meth. Lol.

Yeah Dorian was class from beginning to end, thats why he was so unstoppable... he approached everything in a very serious manner.... EVERYTHING, posing, presentation, dieting, training, he didnt skimp on anything.
Ronnie when he took over, immediatley ambarrassed BB with his crappy posing that did nothing to hide his flaws, "raise the roof" nonsense, falling to the floor when he won, just classless.
Dorian was even quoted as saying the whole concept of posing and BB was a bit gay, but he loved lifting weights and it provided him a way to make money so he tried to do the best he could at it.

It was his best showing even though his conditioning would get maybe better in the years to come. But he was never as complete as in '93 and the proportions would cease to be as good once the waistline got bigger and the tears threw off the overall balance.

That's because he was thicker than anyone else. Ronnie has maybe more width but thickness,.......Your arms alqays look small if you back thickness is substantial.

I think Ronnie was wider that Yates but thicker, I'd say Yates was thicker. And yes, at his top, Ronnie had better arms overall 'til he fucked up his tris. then it was pretty much the same problem Yates had. To a lower extent but still...
