Title: Romney waits until AFTER the debt debate to weigh in...
Post by: 240 is Back on August 01, 2011, 09:59:15 AM
This way, he can side with the tea partiers, knowing he won't be on record supporting what was a default.  LMAO... pathetic.

Boston, MA – Mitt Romney today issued the following statement on the deal to raise the debt ceiling:

“As president, my plan would have produced a budget that was cut, capped and balanced – not one that opens the door to higher taxes and puts defense cuts on the table. President Obama’s leadership failure has pushed the economy to the brink at the eleventh hour and 59th minute. While I appreciate the extraordinarily difficult situation President Obama’s lack of leadership has placed Republican Members of Congress in, I personally cannot support this deal.”

Im so sick of this "to the brink" bullshit. It's over. We have gone over the edge a long time ago. Its just that now, it cant be hidden anymore.

it's hypocritical IF Romney criticizes Obama during the general election for his position on this.

See, romney didn't have a position at all.  I think Romney did this on the surge "I will sit this one out" as governor, refusing to take a position on iraq.  Then, during election, he was all "I've always supported it".  Then say so.  You're a voice of leadership.

its also hypocritical of you to condemn romney for doing something that will help him politically and then praising obama...

very frequently, i will condemn obama's actions in a moral sense, but admire him politically.  it's the same here.  I would vote romney over obama in a minute, although I admit the whole debate cheating thing turned me off on him a bit.

Oh nonsense. Frequently?

Gmafb. The only thing I guess to admire about maobama is his ability to continually sucker, dupe, fool, lie, steal, cheat, and cajole suckers into buying in to his shit show admn.

There is nothing admirable about this mini-madoff and grifter on any level.

He is an urban blight and plague on this nation.

except you never start threads about admiring ppl other than obama for their political moves...

you always condemn them while excusing obama...

you see these are actions of a hypocrite...
