Im thinking gays like Goodrum, Bay, Faggotry,Candizzle might have the right idea:
Never have to beg a partner for sex
Can play Xbox with them, watch football, get a blowjob then go back to playing xbox together
Can buy them presents that you secretly want yourself
If you have nothing to wear you can raid their closet
No moaning when you ask for Anal
If they piss you off you can just punch them in the face
Dont look out of place when you go to watch bodybuilding shows
Your weighlifting would be encouraged, and you could spot each other
When your significant other sees you looking at pics of Ronnie's glutes on the internet, he can name each muscle group and guess anus circumferance to the nearest mm, rather than looking at you like you are a homosexual
No week off sex during time of the month
(No Homo)

A man that likes girls doesnt even contemplate this shit. If your trying to justify your hidden affinity for the cock, then just grab the next available dick and do all the things mentioned above.

Yes, being gay is much easier in many ways than being straight. But other things are not easier.

There would certainly be advantages, but they don't outweigh the disadvantages. Mainly, social stigma. Although this is lessening (as well it should) we are still quite a ways from equality.
For me personally, heterosexuality is ceaselessly interesting because of the mystique of women. Although it may drive us nuts at times, how boring would it be to be with someone who's experience is so similar to your own? I like women and their make-up and high heels and (to me, anyways) their illogical patterns. Always keeps me guessing.

That's a good point LOLOLOL...other than that.....I'll deal with the inherently stupid and self defeating ways of the hetero ;D

Yes, but the gays often seggregate themselves into gay communities to minimize this. I realize a lot still have to go out into the "real world" and work with others, but how many gay dudes do you know that work in the trades , etc where homophobia is still celebrated? I think in white collar world it's a lot more accepted (or white collar companies at least have policies in place to minimize at least public homophobia).
Even though i'm apparently not gay, i watch "flipping out" , where teh business owner is gay. He works in construction management, and he handles his shit better than any hetero guy i've ever seen. He also makes a lot more money than most project managers i know.
Yes, it would be better being gay is my conclusion.

But wouldn't it cause conflict with some of your family members?
-
Alot better. It is my opinion that you can't have a healthy relationship with a woman, they always think a man owns them something for their time and while women enjoy sex as much as men they think about it for 0.02 seconds before they use it as a weapon against the man.
-
I never considered it, as sex should be FUN not a pain in the ass :P

Not at all.
My entire family has been very accepting of my preference. I have 2 older brothers (late's 50's) and a younger sister (mid 30's) and they have all accepted my decision and my husband.
As a family, we are very modern. We come from Greek and Israeli roots (collectively, my husband and I) and everyone has been so happy about our choice.
Here's an amazing story...
My father died over 20 years ago. During his time, I had not been open to him regarding my choice and never really sat down to discuss his feelings regarding the matter. He was of the old country (Greek Orthodox), you see, and those men knew nothing more than to appreciate hard work, money and the joy of family.
Anyhow, on his last day, while he rested in that intensive care unit bed with a respirator tube deep within his trachea, being his healthcare proxy, I was given the choice by his medical provider to either stop the respirator and life support or to keep him attached to over 20 different tubes and IV lines. I decided that to simply keep a human being vegetating there on a bed would be cruel and selfish (since we would only keep the flesh alive for the sole purpose of viewing him day to day with no actual interaction) and that pulling the plug would be the right thing to do.
The medical team went ahead, with my permission and upon my sole presence, and pulled the plugs out and removed the tube from deep within his windpipe.
Right as they removed that tube, for a split second, my father looked me directly in the eyes with a look of clarity and muttered out, "You fucking homo!".... as he took his last breath.
That's when I knew that he was happy with my decision.

Problem with the move is that I only truly read the Gossip & Opinions board. So, after this post, I might not be able to properly follow up with this thread.
A shame,
