which brand is equivalent to the optimum's double chocolate 5lb jug in value and quality?

or if there's some brand you recommend, hit me with it.

Value and quality don't belong in any sentence next to "protein powder".

Why not just go with Optimum?  Amazon just had a deal yesterday for 10lbs of Optimum for $60 and free shipping.  If you check sites like slickdeals.net daily, getting on these deals is no problem.

well i like optimum's the best, but i'd like to try something else for once.

of course, i just flush it all down the toilet and inject trenbolina, but i like to support the industry.

seriously its whatever as long as it's not some  low grade shit....so like is said taste and price

and don't get fooled with all the marketing crap

Just out of interest how would you define "low grade" protein anyway?

I buy mine from myprotein.co.uk and it's the cheapest whey concentrate I can find, but does that mean it's "low grade"?

I use my own brand stuff, taste is great cos I got to sample a few different strawberry, chocolate flavours etc and it's made by the same plant that make optimum. I personally don't like the flavours of optimum
