1. McCain sucked, was old, tired, angry.
2. McCain said "fundamental of the economy were strong"
3. McCain was tagged with McSame, Mcbush, McLame, etc
4. McCain SUSPENDED his campaign for fucks sake.
5. McCain was not liked by the base GOP.
6. Obama was the msm favorite and they kneepadded him daily over hillary and mccain
7. Obama had no record at all
8. A false, but albeight effective, narrative was created about obamna that the moronic public bought in to.
9. A B B! Anybody but Bush
10. Record turnout by blacks, young people etc.
Palin got the base to somewhat come out for McCain, and she helped McCain from losing even worse.

2. Obama driving up the cost of energy for everyone fucks young people in terms of mobility and ability to get employment.

I read an article today that talked about the utter ridiculous cost of college education and how most people aren't getting a thing out of it. The best nugget was that if Uncle Sam got out of the loan business, college nationwide would be so much cheaper. Why does tuition continue to climb year after year unconnected to the economy. These idiot protestors and their deluded self worth. These kids want 75K jobs with "Black Studies" degree's.

If you have to pay 100k or whatever to go to MIT..sure, because those kids are the best. But some bs degree from Brown or even Harvard..what good is that. If your major is a joke..nobody cares anymore where you got it. We have plumbers and electricians making 50 an hour because most kids go to college. The article I read had this dad who was about to send his kid to University of Chicago and its 45K a year tuition..plus 13K room and board. The dad thought he might be better off sending him to a UofI satelite and buying 4 or 5 house for him to manage with the money. The kid would have managment experience and be set for life....all for less money.

Greece's public sector employs something like 1 million people...in a country with a working population of approximate 6 million. They make up about 20% of all Greek jobs. Govt. jobs in the USA are approximately 7% of all jobs. And yet you want to argue that those numbers are indicative of a capitalist state. ::)
They are not a capitalist society. Nor are the bulk of the other EU countries capitalist. They slanted away from capitalism in the 50s and they’re now reaping the rewards of that: overregulation, excessive taxation, no economic growth, bankruptcy and, soon enough, economic collapse. Or do you think retiring from your public sector job with full benefits and pensions at 50 paid for by the taxpayer are characteristics of capitalism?
