I am glad to see him back also sad to see his current state

Yeah, but when you put it in a different perspective:
Compared to recent appearances by Jake Roberts & Scott Hall, Perry looks fantastic!

In all honesty, I actually thought he moved pretty well in the ring considering how long he's been away and what he's been through.

Sad if true, but does WWE even have "jobbers" anymore? Everybody is a "Superstar!" ::)

That's the one.
IIRC, Perry claimed he potatoed the guy after being "stunned" following the bad bump where he came down on his head.
He explained it like it was some kind of natural defense mechanism that momentarily took over.

I really don't buy that, and I don't believe WWF brass did either.
Saturn's WWF career really nose-dove after this incident, and I doubt it was mere coincidence.
