Remember when steroids really peaked in BBing, a few years back? Records were falling left & right.
Thanks to the media, legal action, etc - the use has lessened, and as a result, we saw a huge decline in quality of baseball play, HR output, etc.
The records from this era will be forever be listed with an *asterisk due to the extreme drug use.
Will this era, that we're seeing right now in bodybuilding, be the asterisk era in bodybuilding?
-
Yes.
We will all remember this as the one era where bodybuilders used steroids.
-
:o Good point, yes it's a fact.

Does anyone really care about pro bodybuilding anymore other than a couple hundred people in all of north america?

If you are talking about having mass monsters dominate over conditioning and symmetry, not so sure. I think it will need to be a mixture of both. Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman - were the mass monsters. Flex Wheeler and Kevin Leverone excelled in symmetry. Phil Heath is a mixture of both, but definately leaning on the mass side lately.
It will be interesting, but you never know.
