you guys think there is any use for EPO in bodybuilding? I know guys who have experimented with it and said the pumps were ridculous. but as ar as growing muscle mass I am not sure if it has mass building effects.anybody try EPO in their stack or solo?

intenstity of training is insane, imagine how often you have to stop squatting for example because you got to breath
also recorvery is much much faster
combine EPO with O2 mask for max results
EPO is not only for endurance athletes, ask worlds top sprinters ;D
but very dangerous for the cronically overweighing bodybuilders and very expensive
ever realised that some 300lbs pro are doing a set of 500lbs squats and breath like no tomoro, while others finish a set and just start talking ;D

epo is for preps only.... last 2 to 4 weeks, never used it my self, know a few brit guys that swear by it

Bro's,
EPO absolutely has no place in body building. For primarily 2 reasons. First, having an elevated hematocrit is beneficial to endurance only for efforts greater than 200 meter. And secondly, cyclists and marathoners have severely depressed RBC production because their training is so severely catabolic. They normally have a baseline HCT around 38-42. They really benefit from EPO which brings them up to the low 50's. A HCT greater than 50 is a failed doping control anyway. Body builders will already have a baseline HCT in the low 50's due to all the gear.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST ANY EXTRA HCT ELEVATION VIA EPO IN BODY BUILDERS.
The following are serious risks in having HCT much greater than 50%:
1) DVT
2) PE
3) > blood viscosity
4) hemorrhagic stroke

tell this shit to one of the many EPO-positive tested top 100m sprinters of the last years

I knew one bodybuilder who used it and said the pumpds and vascularity is nuttz! I have not used it personally just wondering if they also use EPO.
-
hence the use in preps,,,, supposed to give you extra volume/extreme vascularity
has to be shot iv, and is expensive...
-
Forgive my ignorance. If you are using EPO to increase red blood cell count why not use EQ or even tren ? Serious question.
-
If you're on gear you don't need EPO

wait so you are saying that pros use EPO?
-
If you're on gear you don't need EPO
everyone is looking for an edge for competing, most would drink glue if they thought it would improve them a few %
-
wait so you are saying that pros use EPO?
i know one who did, but he s dead :'(
generally speaking : i think it s possible because it can definitly help to make a bodybuilder better looking on stage
anyway it s easier to name someting that pros are not taking ;)

Before this get out of hand and a bunch of noobs start shooting E,
If you've been on gear for more than 6 months your HCT is probably already greater than 50%. Not only is E unnecessary in this scenario, it is very dangerous to let your HCT get over 50%
Don't use gear and E simultaneously - please bro's!

I am a former endurance athlete and at one time was obsessed with hematocrit numbers (hence the username).
I have used EPO several times and measured my own hematocrit regularly.
I feel it has absolutely no place in bodybuilding for the reasons already mentioned in this thread.
There are some advantages to EPO that could be beneficial to a bodybuilder, but it is far too dangerous for
anyone that is on AAS or was just recently on AAS. You don't want your blood to be sludge.

EPO isn't on Gh15's list of top 5 steroids so not worth it. Just stick with top five and you'll be 90% set in bodybuilding. Gh15's advice follows the 80/20 principle. He'll tell you the 20% you have to do to get 80% result and that's why I take his advice and listen to him.
-
I wouldn't use it but I have heard of people using it with pretty good results.
-
to concluse my input
DON T use it if you are not a top Mr Olympia competitor!
and even then, it s maybe not worth the risk, however there is the possibility to get out another 5% of performanceenhancement

I took it before aboxing match I had in October, and it did what it was supposed to do regarding lung capacity. Got it off a cyclist friend of mine and he had me well versed in the dangers of it
