I would take Corvette any day because of looks.

Porsche of course would be more reliable though.... but who thinks that when buying these kind of cars so....

Big mistake, American car engineering does not come close to German car engineering.

Overall the Porsche is a much superior car.

You're absolutely right, bro. I know that.
I have American car myself at the moment and friends driving German cars remember to remind me of it pretty often  ;D

But I just have always valued the looks of Corvette !

Not always...anybody who has owned a BMW long term knows that they have poor reliability.
And Mercedes had a severe downturn in quality in the early 2000s, and are still recovering.
Meanwhile GM and Ford often have been rated up there with the Japanese Marques.

Porsche is up there with Lexus when it comes to quality and reliability.

yes porsche have strong engines and can be pushed hard,,maintenence is important oil changes and major tuneups a must and they are costly relative to the owner if he or she is rich or well off,,problems early 2000's porsche 911 was intermediate shaft seal and rear main seal leaks ,,if the intermediate shaft cooks get ready to buy an engine.u wanna drive a car try a panamera turbo 500 plus hsp handles awesome.

Everybody hates the 996 911 and Porsche Boxster that shared the front end, lol.

I remember hearing about what you just stated. Also, wasn't there something about the cylinders as well?

Compare it with the newer 'GT2 RS' which is much faster and more expensive.

Corvettes are the best. You gotta love a car that is launched at 2005 and will look the same till 2014, that is what I call value for money  8)

yea, did you see his shifting?  And he blamed the car for that?

for the price difference, the ZR1 takes the prize between the two.

it's well known, that with BMWs that you get rid of it after the warranty..and that they are not as reliable as say Lexus...Drive well, but maintenance is high as a giraffe's ass. same with Mercedes...Both BMW and Mercedes were trying to outdo each other with tech...this reach a head with the E65 7 series and the W220 S Class, they were putting tech in there untested---it was the customers that were the guinea pigs...
Mercedes boss back in 2006, had said that starting with that yr's line up, Mercedes would be better quality.

As far as this vid, neither driver was good, because both these cars can run low, low 3s....

Dollar for dollar, pound for pound, HP vs. HP, nothing matches this car, except maybe a supercharged C5Z06 or more....

If we had our NASA engineers design our cars we might have a different story.

Jeremy is a funny homo... he originally raved about the ZR1 and said he would buy one. The UK fans must have threatened his old ass.
