best sequel ever made I think, and considering how good the first was, that's quite an achievement

2 is outstanding,,,but 1 has those parts that divide the college mikey war hero boy,to man when he visits his father in hospital and then taking out the 'turk',sonny's death ,vito's remorse over loosing a child over his chosen path,then the death of the don ,,pure cinematic opera.in 2 how can u not love frank pantagioli sp?

Two is awesome, but I love some of the parts in Italy in the first one, beautiful actress he marries there too!

Great movie.  I loved a lot of the Deniro/Vito stuff but I'm conflicted.  Sometimes I think it would have been better to stay with Michael the whole movie and do the Vito backstory as a seperate film.  Michael Corleone in part two was a bad muthafucka.

Godfather one had the best moments...I liked the beginning of two when Michael gets revenge on the Pizza guy who killed his wife....and I like that they showed Fredo's motivation...that he was passed over for the Don position and that he knew that people did not have a very high opinion of his intellect..that was sad...also how ruthless Michael was for taking out his own brother...

three sucked really really hard and I hated Michael's hairdo in that one
