Who here has done this conversion with success, and what method did you use?  ??? ???

I do it all the time! Bass killer has some step by step instructions. Not too difficult. Used to have a source for kits but he only does them case by case now!

If so it's the one I am planning to use.

I reasoned it'd be more economical to just buy each of the necessary parts instead of the kit.

I'm hopefully going to make my first attempt soon. Everyone seems to say it's easy but I'm nervous regardless.

Thats the one! My only advice is to clean the crystals really well. And when u see crystals that slip through the filter, let them go! If you have a scale I was told 7 grams crystals to 100cc. Anything more and it won't hold at room temp. It's happened to me but I still used it with crystals floating inside! No harm done! Good luck!

Thanks brother. I'm think I'm giving the Synovex and Finaplex conversions a whirl this weekend. Hopefully it goes well  ;D

If u cant find synovex, u can also use component E-H. Works exactly the same! Have fun!

Yea I actually ordered component E-H the other day lol. It seems like everywhere is out of Synovex for whatever reason.
