I haven't made up my mind about which program. It'll be...
- FB every 3rd day
- half body every other day
- 4 or 5 or 6 day split once-a-week

Full body and half body workouts are good for athletes but not good to maximize muscle gains.

chest triceps shoulders day one , legs day 2, restday, back biceps day four, rest day, repeat cycle again . who says training should be based on a 7 day work week? the beatles always sung 8 days a week.

Diet and full body workouts 3 days a week with light to moderate cardio or light barbell complexes on off days.
2 sets, not including warm ups, as heavy as you can for ten reps with 60 to 90 minutes rest.
Ex.
squats
stiff legs
calf raises
bench press
pull downs
barbell rows
shoulder press
shrugs
dips (weighted if you can)
chin ups (weighted if you can)
Off day Cardio
30 min walking on steep incline or walk/run stairs just to burn some calories and get the blood pumping to help recover from the workouts nothing to strenuous.

Try an intermittent fast diet with training 3x a week. I'm gonna be starting that myself this week...probably

Twice a week split the body in half, put down the fork. Run hoes down the street for cardio and fat burning. Not joking here it works.

I agree with whopever said that training movements works better for athletic performance rather than physique building.
Though you can also build an impressive physique doing full body type splits.
