Title: Do Some NFL Players Try to Throw Games?

Are they in on not trying, so the spread gets covered?

Or

Do they just not care, as long as they get their check?

Players in professional sports make too much money to do this anymore. What are you gonna offer a guy who makes 25 mil? 50k? You see it sometimes in college sports with players though... point shaving etc. In the pros you only fix games one way... through the refs. They make like 75k a year so 50k is a lot. One holding call can change a game.

Sure, you see it a lot in college sports. In the majors, it's usually a single player that gets so deep debt through gambling that he can only shave down the number through game fixing.
