I work with teens and trust me this kids are not rare. I would say roughly 5% or more are like this. I think they suck at reality so much they need to escape in these childlike fantasies.

Seriously though, my 85 yr old grandmother, who is the sweetest woman in the world (think the Grandma from Grandma's boy) told me that she thinks the equality for women thing has gone to far, and that the downfall of our society started when women began thinking they didn't need a man in their lives. She believes that men and women need each other. It was hilarious to hear from her mouth.
