Be a man and put up with them.
Aches and pains are a fact of life everyone gets them

I used to take Advil like candy, but I have been trying to taper it off.

only take pills if you gte a MRI and truly need them. I went years without pain pills and that was all I could think about was how I couldn't move my neck and how I couldn't sleep because I tossed and turned every 5 minutes if it is that bad you might have some herniated discs that are wearing down badly. I got diagnosed with degnerative disc disease and I also had a fractured T12 and my neck would not move right or left it was glitched in one spot. Now I get these bad boys and life is good

I woudn't opt for riding the dragon unless it was your last option. I am sure that WW was out of alternatives when he got the Oxy, but that can become a lifestyle if you let it get out of control. Seen way too many people get a little too "enthusiastic" about Oxys over my time.

just take some fucking aspirin

well yes it has to be a last option and I tried my best to stick with OTC products and non scheduled muscle relaxers but to top everything off i got rocked by a drunk driver! The Bitch T-Boned me going 70 MPH when I was going 30mph through a light my truck did a 270 into a guard rail, after that I couldn"t move my head any direction my neck wouldn"t move left or right nor up or down plus I fractured my spine and the mRI also showed degnerative disc disease meaning my disc were all worn out. The people who have the worst problems with oxys are the guys who do not have a prescription and have to pay alot of money per pill/ One of my oxy tabs sells for up to 30$ a tab if I wanted to sell them but I need the pills for myself and refuse to sell these hardcore drugs to anybody.
Once a responsible user gets used to oxycontin/oxycodone all the first time sicknes goes away and eventually aftre a week you get used to taking them and your life becomes normal again. I could easily see your life getting out of control if you toook way to many and went over how many pills you are suppose to take a day but to get a legit prescription I had to go through Physical therapy and pain mangment to teach me ways to use as least as possible. so I went through alot of hoops to get on oxys.

morphium hydrochlodirum and cortisol injection here and there.
nah seriously, lighter training weight and more days off is what helps best for me.
I wanted to get cortisol injections but they told me it would be a waste and they would only numb my pain for a few weeks not like most people who only need a shot every few months.

Opites will kick the pain. ECH AND EVERY TIME

Your mortal human avoidance of "hurt feelings" will cause you to feel.
So you don't want to avoid it, if it's still going to happen.
I'm putting out a lot of ancient knowledge here. Sometimes I wonder if any people are worthy of it though..

LOL those are overdose amounts. maybe half a gram at most to kill pain and chill out. once your tolerance goes up maybe a gram only if needed a 1/8th of a ounce and you will overdose unless you buy some bunk smack.

WAAAAAY out of control ~ you will be addicted within a few weeks and pretty soon the reason you are taking them has absolutely nothing to do with why you are *now* taking them ~
They will even appear to increase your quality of life in the beginning.
After a while, they will be the only thing you think of.
Been there, did that, with a legit script. Dumped them down the toilet and never looked back.

The oxycodone life style is one that you will soon regret. So many are hooked on pain killers. The pain doctor in town has a parking lot full of scum bags waiting to get their fix.
I have lifted heavy for about 40 years. My right foot, right knee, right shoulder and right elbow give me pain. If I would do it over again I would have lifted weights for volume chasing endurance through sets instead of trying to be super man.

you clearly missed the sarcasm. At the peak of my abuse, I was using beyween an eightball and a quarter a day. I didnt just statt at that, it would have killed me.

basically what galineko said.
lighter weight chase the pump lets your joints and tendons repair and heal. less training sessions. gh is a very powerful restorative. that's why the NFL the Olympics and cycling testing for it cause it gives you a massive edge in repair and tissue regeneration. I tore all the muscles in my lower back deadlifting weight I had no business touching after 2 years. my lower back tightened up until all the fiber just snapped like brittle elastic bands. doc said I'd be out of the gym at least 6 weeks. I was training 24 days later. it true it is a wonder drug when used as a regenerative.
as for chasing the pump/ training lighter you won't shrink. you might even experience new tissue growth.

Ibuprofen. Oxys. Lose weight. In that order. :-\
-
Ibuprofen works well for me.
Non-addictive and if you eat something before taking it its not harsh on the stomach and been told by doctors in can be taken long-term with no problems as long as food is taken with it or else could cause ulcers.
It also improves my mood, which according to some research is that inflammation in the body is the cause of depression for some people.

Similar story for me. I went in for Peary Rader's high-repetition "breathing squats", which he claimed would stimulate overall muscle growth. It did, but also destroyed my knees. Going too heavy on military presses toasted my shoulders, and heavy curls gave me an elbow joint injury.
Now I'm trying to get back into lifting (following Dave Draper's blog), and I go for much lighter weights, and nothing more than aspirin for pain (Tylenol is too hard on the liver). Anything like oxycontin is a slippery slope.
