Title: Why does everyone want to be the same?
Post by: Mr Nobody on August 30, 2013, 02:43:26 PM
All I see now days is most all people want to be the same stuff, dress the same hair cut the same car style same wanting to be Mr O all the same. It gets old cannot any one be their on individual and create something new or are we locked in to being the same due to Financial reasons and people we are involved with? News is the same who got killed today, sales at the store, some hot girl or guy old news daily. I guess the Hippies back in they day tried the most.

I don't know man.  When I was in vegas it was juice heads and/or with tattoos covering every square inch of their bodies and a lot of them had smoking hot girlfriends.  Go figure.

The funny is that they all see models on tv or in movies they want to imitate, thinking they ll be unique, they re just copying models, hoping to impress others the same way these models impressed them. And they re all doing it. You cant help these behaviors, they are animalistic by nature, we re trying to copy the strategies of survival / apperances of those who seem to be feared, revered, worshiped.

Maybe people are very similar, more so socially similar than anything. That's sad. Because I think deep down people don't really want to be the same.

But they are, not because they want to be but because it is forced on them, molded by peer pressure, trends, media, sneers and engineers, bandoleers and budgeters, pioneers and profiteers, their own fears and what not.

people dont "want" shit, they re just led by subconscious impulses to dominate others 99% of the time, learning, replicating other people s strategies of survival constantly, and when they cant they flee , submit or cooperate.

Have you noticed lately when women are standing still, like at a set of traffic lights waiting to cross the road they do the following:

I never notice this 10 years ago, it seems to be a recent phenomenon.

What's the psychology behind this?  ???

Are they trying to copy celebrities, do they think they are celebrities, do they think they look better? They just look like retarded sheep to me.

The 'hotties' these days have the hip-to-waist ratio of a prepubescent boy. Standing like this is their only hope of appearing like they have an hourglass figure.

Yeah, I notice many women seem to be like a school of fish. Something will occur, and it seems the occurrence will affect all of them in a blink of an eye. The lower-back tattoo is a great example.

The point is wtf does everyone want to drive the latest cars, have the biggest houses have the greatest jobs, win Mr O, be a model but must all fail = materialism. Just live a simple life things if in your karma it will come to you. If not then it is set. How many Mr O's have there been compared to how many tried?

I'm a little perplexed by the so called "thug" look. Especially with the bodybuilding crowd and all of these so called "hardcore" trendy gyms that are popping up, graffiti graphics on the wall with shit like skulls and cross bones, equipment they don't know how to use (but it looks really cool ::))  Everyone is all tatted up, flat bills, Gucci wallets and purses and other stupid looking shit all the while rocking the hardcore look...because they were raised in the mean streets of Huntington Harbor or Palos Verdes where the home's start at $1.5mil ::)

Well those gyms are just to sign you up on a plan a few dollars a month all get you is bullshit machines and such they give no direction or if so bullshit. You got a good a great gym old school as far as I can tell from pics you posted. Barbells and Dumbells a few machines for isolation that has built many of great physiques over the years.

This is why I like Cswol's and Falcon's posts and others here, just two that came to mind they think outside the box. They don't follow "The Yellow brick Road to find out there is no Wizard". There is no pot of gold waiting there its just day to day life until it ends. Those two use their minds

The point is wtf does everyone want to drive the latest cars, have the biggest houses have the greatest jobs, win Mr O, be a model but must all fail = materialism. Just live a simple life things if in your karma it will come to you. If not then it is set. How many Mr O's have there been compared to how many tried?

Because they are insecure and want to impress other people.

For me personally, I dont really need a bunch of money, fine cars etc. because Ive never considered myself to be a greedy person. I do want more money in the future though, and thats why I work hard in school in order to get it. But its not what its ultimately about, its about pursuing your goals and dreams, and having fun while doing it. I take pride in working hard to achieve the goals that I set myself, and I enjoy evolving and developing myself in the process. For me its about continuously making progress in all aspects of life whether its my school, my job, my Health/training etc. Not so much about materliasim and having the need to impress others. because I could care less about others, I just want to build a life that is enjoyable enough to live, and that I can share with my girl and my loved onces. In the end, life is all about being happy and enjoying the ride. :)
