2013, 20 pds heavier, bloated face, gut, waaaaaay to heavy for his frame already, and smooth like a baby.

Dude should def aim for the 212 class.

Excellent chest, but needs to come down in size. He's too big for his frame.

True, he has more than enough size, needs to sacrifice it to come in super shredded

Ask Danny Padilla, Dave Henry,...just a couple that come to mind, also that little Italian guy from the 80s...no Columbo never looked "good" imo...never had conditioned legs

Good comparison pics. Short guys who try to jam to much mass on their tiny little bodies end up looking like ten pounds of shit in a five pound bag.

If branch can weigh 250+ can't see why this guy can't. , his frame while short can carry a lot of mass

He was damn near perfect in 2009. I remember the first year I started bodybuilding, and I stumbled across his pics. Almost made me quit and pick up a new hobby, he was that good at such a young age.

I'm of the opinion tht branch is another midget who carries to much mass for his frame.  He looked better as an amateur.

Agreed sev, people need to stay with there structure. Frank Zane example he tried to go up in mass outside his structure and he got beat. The 3 O's he won were just being ripped staying in his realm. You only got what you got.

same here...i think there is a certain amount that looks ideal distributed on a certain frame...anything.more is useless...also rippedness counts more than.mass...is all an illusion

Exactly that is why we got this mess called bodybuilding today.

most fellas in the 5'10" to 6 foot range look best as light-heavies ie. up to 198

do you think the smoothness is from insulin or gh,or both.

id bet its from gh.

I used to think it was just insulin that does this for awhile. Until I learned that GH increases the thickness of the skin. They go so far as to market this effect to the anti aging crowd. So now I believe it's both the Slin and the GH.

A former head judge of the IFBB told me this regarding naturals (he owned a pretty famous gym):  "I have never seen a trainee at a stage ready 200 pounds that was under 6 feet tall."

i'm not talking bout King Zane dude, i'm talking bout 5'10-6 foot guys in general

fyi, Zane was 5'9"

i'd look fantastic at a ripped 198 but i think that i'll have to settle for a ripped 180 or so :-\

what was your on stage height and weight brosef?

i always thought the smoothness and wateryness is because of the insulin

i had made a bro science theory on this

but i forgot how it went

something with insulin, glycogen, water, sugar

RIPPED 198...even at 5'10/5'11 with good not sick wheels is very impressive .if u hit that weight yes impressive dj but you would have to drug yourself over and over.180 would look good sans legs cause you won't commit to training them hard lol...

Yea man with a ectomorph/mesomorph body 6'2".  ;D The point is if you aren't Dorian, Ronnie whoever it's a joke. Genes rule all just playing around joking. So many are there 30 Mr O's over the years? Why do they think they will win Mr O's many have taken drugs spent alot of money and genes. I respect your posts Jeff but do you think you will win the Mr O one day honest question. If that isn't your goal thats ok.

This shit isn't rocket science. Just lift heavy on the compound movements if you got the genes then hey you got them. How many clowns have waisted there money on roids, versus how many have made it to Mr O?
