i actually bought that issue the day it came out. still have it. as well as every Flex from that one through to 2000.

Haha what was the tipping point for you to stop buying them?  When you realized they recycle the same 5-10 articles each issue?

I bought it at Bobs News in Fort Lauderdale when it came out! Sold it back to them for 25 cents along with tons of other Bodybuiding mags years later!!

go on e-bay there is a lou ferrignopec-deck for sale can be had for less than 50 dollars. so instead of turning pages you can build a chest like louie ferrigno. don't hesitate, GO NOW, DO IT , BID, WIN and TRAIN.    MAKE LOUIE PROUD.

haha, i was so naive that i thought bodybuilding was all about respect and getting chicks.   i never heard about g4p or schmoes until i joined Getbig.  

i competed from 1987 till 2007 and  never saw evidence of homos running the sport.  i guess that's why i always lost contests people thought i should have won??  lmao..

That's nice but that does not change that truth that he is the worst Mr. Olympia in history.  Zane, Padilla and a host of others were (and most likely still are) vastly superior to Dickerson.

Not in '76.  And Padilla should have won in 1981. Chris looked like a tiny magnet dragged through a bin of sub par body parts.  Except for his calves.   ;D Bodybuilding is a highly subjective pageant.
