Just stumbled across a seminar from Dorian, Mr Olympia Shawn ray and Kevin Levrone that took place in the UK earlier this year.
Dorian States that he kept records of all his food choices, even offseason as a tool to tweak his performance and refine his physique.
6500 cals offseason was the norm at his peak bodyweight and never went below 4000 cals cutting for the Mr Olmpia contest.

Lol I could eat that much but I would turn obese in a few months. Then again I'm also not supporting enough muscle as he was and I'm not on the drugs he was. Hell I eat less when I'm trying to gain then he does pre-contest if he really was eating that much.

er understood all the crap on here abiut 4000 cals being a lot and 8 or 10 thousand cals being impossible,sure 4000 clean cals can be a lot of food,but is nowhere near impossible,off season I know a lot of guys that eat 4000 cals at one sitting in a fast food restaurant.i think most people thast postr on here must be liteweight females!

4000 calorie thing is correc twhen you are loaded with 9-10 gms of gear with some growth and igf thrown in. The more the androgenic level of your system, the more calories you can eat, and those calories are going to go in the right places. And the androgenic level is directly proportional to all the anabolic drugs you have in your system. Most of you guys will never experience this situation because the androgenic level of the pros takes a lot and A LOT of money and dedication.

Everyone is different. When I was competing as a LW I would eat 3k calories and my training partner was a LHW and he had to eat 1800 calories.

Some people forget that calories are just fuel. If you're cycling training over 100 miles a day, then you need probably 3 x the fuel a regular sedintary person would use.
I used to do a 22 mile commute on my road bike, so after about 45 miles a day I was LOSING weight even though I bumped my calories by over a 1000 a day above my maintenance.

I was losing weight, whilst cycling ( speed ave of 20 miles per hour) for 2, 22 mile journeys per day, although I was eating 1000 kcals over my usual non cycling maintenance.
You be stupid to think that I can't burn 500 kcals, while fucking killing it on a road bike for 22 miles no breaks lol. That's about 80 mins of cycling lol, average fat bitches at the gym can burn 250 kcals doing 40 mins on a cross trainer

I ate around 600-800 kcals during the ride itself (mostly oat based, flapjacks etc) and had to down 100g of dextrose mixed with an isotonic drink to replace my glucose and salts once I arrived at work (otherwise i'd be in trouble).

Did you use PED for cycling? Friend of mine rides with a semi-pro team ( makes money but not enough to live on ) they are big on test short esters and EPO but the test is for after the race or after intense training, just for recovery.

No. I was young then, in my 20's. I was using a higher end mountain bike and riding with roadies. I have used quite a bit at other times. lol
My bike was killer, but they could fade me in a second for the most part.
There was a park we used to ride miles after miles in. They couldn't take their bikes down the stairs. Haha. I hit my head so hard one a tree branch there one day going through the woodsy part. Fucking mad.
PED's would have helped for sure.
This all coming from a guy that hit a pothole wasted at over 20 mph going home from a bar. They let me put my bike in the storage room at the bar. I fucked up some nice parts on that crash.
It's funny when I think about that stuff, I've done some shit in life for only being 42, but it's been fun.

That's why I call bullshit.
You can eat a lot after, but if you are in the pool 3 to 4 times a day starting at 5 AM, you aren't gonna have any leftover pizza or pancakes in your belly. As a matter of fact, swimming with anything in your stomach is a huge mistake, and you sure won't win a race until your food is digested.
Like I said before, he may have eaten like that once in a while, but the Media blew all of that bullshit way out of proportion.
Butterly can burn up to 1000 calories in a half hour. Yeah, I know.... ;D
