 ;D

It's funny to see these 'huge' bodybuilders next to these guys...not taking anything away from Jay, he's massive, but keep everything in perspective...let's see.........
Less effort, lots more money, women, fame, longer life span, work for eight to ten years then retire?....I'll take the life of an NFL player.

does that mean you'll take the average life span of 55 years that NFL players have?

Stupid post. Pro football players probably work 100 times as hard as your average pro bodybuilder. ::)

Brian that is just ignorant. Some Pro football players work very hard and some do not same with bodybuilders. However there are guys in both who are totally committed to what they do. There are even ballet dancers(I know gay) who work there ass off. Point is you shouldn't try to belittle somebodys accomplishments and dedication to there sport.

Nasser said it best years ago he said even the guy who is 150lbs at the gym deserves his respect because he may be totally dedicated and the hardest worker there. You don't know what some people sacrifice and what they put into there dreams and the guys who never make it may be trying the hardest. Some people get by on talent and some guys/gals just outwork everyone else.

He said that being an NFL player requires "less effort" than being a pro bodybuilder, which is totally absurd. You don't know anything about football at the Division I or pro level if you think otherwise.

Good post. Bodybuilders sit around on there drug filled ass's when they are not training for all of 3 hours per day including cardio. Pro NFL players or D1 college athletes work 500 times harder than any bodybuilder. They are true athletes. To compare the two is absurd. NFL players = athletic specimens... Bodybuilder = drug pounding beauty pageant contestants. Well now it would be considered circus sideshow attractions.

Dont get me wrong bodybuilder bust there ass in the gym. But it is really not even comparable to say they work as hard as an NFL player. What, when they are taking there 1 hour nap every other hour ??? ::)

TRY 5' 6

I think he is closer than 5'6" than 5'9". Arvilla is 6'1.5" and he TOWERS over Cutler.

A few hours a day in an air conditioned gym is nothing compared to two-a-days in the August sun.

having met jay, i'm guessing 5'8, 5'9, since i'm 5'10 and he was almost at my eye level. however, this post is not about height really is it??!! of course you can't compare jay to a 6 foot 3 to6 foot 5 tall nfl player. the post is/should be about muscle mass and the better muscular build! have these nfl players on a bb stage/competition and see why jay is a b-o-d-y-b--u-i-l-d-e-r! everyone should know by now on this board that while a nfl lineman size wise and weight wise could compare to jay, it's not just about the mass people! it's called symetry, definition, plus huge mass, etcetera, etcetera that makes jay the better of these nfl players as far as bodywise!!

simply put jay is more muscular with definition not just a 290 nfl player with mass but no shape, definition, shredness, hardness, vascularity, low bodyfat, ratio of all bodyparts equal, etc.!

Tara Scotti is still hot..especially in that pic with bev francis but me thinks she is going toward that mastodon look that is rampant in women's bodybuilding...

Sure he is. If Golfers, Skeet Shooters, Curlers, and Horseback riders are considered athletes, why not a bber?

How about when they have the world series of poker on ESPN? How the hell is that considered a sport or the spelling bee? Bodybuilding should definately be shown on t.v.
